Join Anna with Intentional Living for an 8-week series designed to dissolve stress, release stored trauma and heal the body through the integrative practices of gentle somatic yoga, mindfulness, and breathing techniques. This series offers a compassionate and trauma-informed approach to well-being, creating a safe and nurturing environment for all participants to learn how to work with their own body and nervous system in order to naturally release stress held in the body.
During this 8-week series, you will:
- Learn techniques to create a healthy nervous system and support your overall emotional well-being so you can navigate life with more ease.
- Release stored stress, anxiety and trauma stored in the body to help increase your capacity to handle stress and any of life’s challenges.
- Have an opportunity to practice gentle somatic movement in a safe environment to release stored trauma and stress gently and safely.
- Learn how to integrate self-care practices into your life to increase your resiliency while feeling more connected to those you love.
- Discover how to get clear on what you need and want so you can create a life you love.
Some of the practices included in the series are:
- Gentle Somatic Yoga: Experience a very gentle, somatic approach to yoga that emphasizes mindful movement, self-awareness, and inner healing. These sessions encourage you to listen to your body’s wisdom, promoting deep relaxation and restoration while releasing physical tension and stored emotional trauma. Suitable for all body types and skill levels.Â
- Mindfulness: Engage in mindfulness practices that foster present-moment awareness, helping you connect with your inner self and reduce stress. Learn how to create safety in your body and increase your capacity for skillfully navigating life’s challenges. Practice connecting to what you are feeling so you can accurately express what you are feeling and figure out what you need in each unique situation.
- Breathing Techniques: Learn breathwork exercises designed to calm the nervous system, enhance emotional regulation, and support your body’s natural healing processes. Through focused breathing, we can access and release deep-seated trauma held in the body, allowing for emotional release and long-lasting healing. Breathwork practices will help you reconnect with your body, process unresolved emotions, and promote overall mental and physical well-being.
This series is designed to provide a supportive and safe space to learn and practice effective ways to release stored stress and trauma within the body so you can feel empowered to create and experience a life you truly love living.
The class will be held from March 23rd to May 18th on Tuesdays from 2:00 - 3:30 p.m.
